Fuel Tracker — Privacy Policy

The app collects the following information:

• Email address

  Used to create your account and sign you in. Stored on the Fuel Tracker server, never shared or sold. Your password is stored only as a one-way hash.

• Fuel entries (date, odometer reading, amount paid, price per litre, litres)

  The records you enter, used to calculate your mileage and statistics. Stored on the Fuel Tracker server, visible only to your account, and kept until you delete them.

• Security records (user number and IP address)

  The server logs sign-ins and changes to protect accounts against abuse. Your email address is not written into these logs, and they are deleted automatically after 12 months.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with third parties except as described in this policy.

An account is required to use the app. Account details are used solely to provide the app's functionality.

The app requests the following Android permissions, used only for the purposes described:

• Internet access

  Used to sign you in and to save and load your fuel entries over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

Open the app, tap the account icon at the top right of Home, then Delete account. This permanently deletes your account and all your fuel entries immediately. You can also delete single entries at any time, or use the deletion page at https://132-226-190-156.sslip.io/fuel-tracker/delete-account.html.

The app is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We value your trust and use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect any information handled by the app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
